The short version
- What you write inside your Reset is stored with your account. Only you see it.
- Your private writing is never sent to our analytics provider. That isn't a promise of goodwill — the code only lets a fixed list of structural values through.
- We don't record your screen. Session Replay is switched off.
- Stripe handles your card details. We never see or store your full card number.
- You can delete your account and your personal Reset data yourself, at any time.
The Reset Club is operated by Parkbench13 Corp., which is the company responsible for the data described here.
Account data
When you create an account we hold your email address and the identifiers your sign-in method gives us. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the account identifier and email from them; we never receive your password.
Onboarding answers and your Starting Point
Before you buy, the questions you answer are kept in your own browser. When you create an account, those answers and the Starting Point built from them are attached to your account so your Reset can begin from the right place.
The wording of your answers and your Starting Point is never sent to our analytics provider.
What you write in the product
This is the most personal category, and it is treated as such. It includes your responses, your reflections, your Reset Three and priorities, your Reset Systems and their edit history, your Evidence, the Patterns and Personal Insights the product has assembled with you, and any temporary Context you set.
It is stored with your account in our database so the product can show it back to you. It is not used to train anything, not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not sent to our analytics provider.
Programme state and progress
We store which day you're on, which days you've completed, whether an experience was started or finished, and your entitlement status. This is what makes the programme work and lets you resume where you left off.
Purchase and transaction data
Get Your Life Together is bought through Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly. Parkbench13 Corp. does not receive or store your full card number.
What we keep about a purchase is the commerce record:
- the amount and currency
- the date
- the product and price purchased
- Stripe's reference for the payment and its status, including refunds
- whether the payment was made in our live or test environment
Stripe's own handling of your payment data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
Analytics — and precisely what it receives
We use PostHog (EU hosting) to understand how the product and the purchase journey behave: which screens are reached, whether a day was completed, whether checkout succeeded, which step of onboarding people leave at.
Analytics events are emitted by our server, and each event is filtered against a fixed list of allowed properties before it is sent. That filter is why the following never reach PostHog:
- the text of your reflections or responses
- your Reset Three, Reset System or priority wording
- your Starting Point text or your onboarding answer content
- Pattern, Evidence or Insight text
- anything else you have written
Session Replay is disabled. We do not record your screen or your sessions, and the PostHog recording library is not loaded in your browser at all.
To be precise rather than flattering: analytics is not fully anonymous. Events carry a persistent identifier — an anonymous visitor key before you have an account, and your account identifier afterwards — and person profiles are enabled, so activity can be joined together for one person over time. What is joined together is structural activity, never your writing.
How you found us
If you arrive from an ad or a link carrying campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), we keep those values so we can tell which campaigns work. They describe the link you clicked, not you.
Support messages
When you send a message through Help & feedback, we store what you typed, along with a small amount of structural context: which screen you were on, which day or experience you were in, a generic device class, the app build, and an error code if there was one.
Nothing you have written inside a Reset is attached to a support message automatically. If you paste something private into the message yourself, it is stored as part of that message.
Technical data
Our hosting and database providers process the ordinary technical information needed to serve a request — for example IP address and browser user-agent in server and security logs. We don't use that data to build a profile of you, and we don't operate advertising or fingerprinting trackers.
Cookies and browser storage
We don't run advertising or third-party tracking cookies. What we do use in your browser is:
- Sign-in session storage — keeps you signed in. Essential; without it you'd be signed out on every page.
- Onboarding continuity — your pre-purchase answers, kept in your browser so a refresh doesn't lose them, and a short-lived token used once to attach them to your new account.
- Measurement identifiers — an anonymous visitor key, a per-tab visit id, and any campaign parameters from the link you arrived on.
- Sign-in provider note — which provider you last used, so the app can finish that sign-in correctly.
You can clear all of this from your browser at any time. Clearing it will sign you out and discard unsaved pre-purchase answers.
Open item: we have not implemented a cookie consent banner. Our current position is that this storage is either strictly necessary or first-party measurement with no advertising use, but whether a consent mechanism is required depends on the markets we advertise into. This is an unresolved legal question, not a settled one.
Adding the app to your home screen
You can add the product to your phone's home screen. That is handled entirely by your browser or operating system — it installs no tracking, and it doesn't give us any new information about your device.
Who else processes your data
Only these third parties are involved, each for a specific job:
- Stripe — payment processing and refunds.
- Supabase — the database and authentication that hold your account, your Reset data and our commerce records.
- PostHog (EU) — structural product and funnel analytics, as described above.
- Our transactional email provider — sends account emails such as sign-in, email confirmation and password reset, from notify.joinresetclub.com.
- Our application hosting provider — serves the site and runs the server code.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Email we send you
We send the account emails the product needs — confirming your email, signing in, resetting a password, changing your email address — and purchase-related email. Your email address is passed to our email provider for that purpose.
Deleting your account and your data
You can do this yourself, from your account settings. It takes a typed confirmation because it can't be undone. When you delete your account:
- your personal Reset data is permanently deleted — progress, responses, reflections, Reset Three and priorities, Reset Systems and their history, Evidence, Patterns, Personal Insights, Context, Journey and the rest of your programme state
- your paid access is removed
- your sign-in account is removed
- the records that linked analytics events to you are deleted on our side
- we ask PostHog to delete the person record for you, and we confirm it; if the provider is unreachable we keep retrying until it is confirmed
One thing is kept, and we'd rather say so plainly: the financial record of your purchase. Its link to you is removed — the account identifier is replaced with a one-way reference that can't be turned back into your identity — and it is kept for the period we are required to keep financial records for accounting, tax, refund, chargeback and fraud purposes. Those records never contained anything you wrote.
Open item: the exact retention period for de-linked financial records has not been finalised. It is awaiting accounting and tax confirmation, and this policy will state the specific duration once it is set. We are not stating a figure we haven't confirmed.
If you want a refund rather than deletion, note they're separate: a refund removes paid access but leaves your account and your writing in place.
How long we keep things
- Your account, your Reset data and your programme state: until you delete your account, or the service ends.
- Support messages: kept while they're useful for support and product quality.
- Analytics events: kept in PostHog for our normal analysis window; person-level data is erased on request as described above.
- De-linked financial records: kept for the period we are required to keep financial records for accounting, tax, refund, chargeback and fraud purposes.
Security
Your data is held in a managed database with row-level access rules, so a signed-in account can only reach its own rows. Access to production data is limited to people who need it. No service can promise perfect security, but we don't cut corners on this.
Your choices and rights
Whatever your country, you can:
- see what you've written — it's all in the product
- correct or edit it in the product
- remove a reflection from being shown back to you, from Journey
- delete your account and your personal Reset data yourself
- ask us a question about any of this through Help & feedback
Open item: depending on where you live you may have further statutory rights, including data portability and the right to object or complain to a regulator. We support access and deletion today. We have not completed a formal assessment of every regional privacy regime, so we make no claim of full GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA compliance, and we have not appointed a data protection officer or a local representative.
Where your data is processed
Our providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside your country. Analytics is hosted in the EU. We haven't restricted purchases to particular countries in the product.
Young people
The Reset Club is built for adults and is not intended for children. You need to be at least 18 to have an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone below our minimum age, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
When the product changes, this policy changes with it. The date at the top always shows the current version.
Contact
Use Help & feedback inside the app for anything about your data, including a deletion or access question. It reaches the people who built the product. If you can't sign in, email support@joinresetclub.com.
